Who would you like to see in Central Saanich's municipal government?  Stelly's Student Vote will take place on TODAY, Friday, Oct. 14 in blocks 1 and 2.  The results of this mock election will be available after the adult voting on Oct. 15.  There are 8 candidates trying for 6 seats on council.  Google: "Central Saanich Municipal Elections" for information about the candidates.

On October 18th there will be an indoor movie night located in the MPR to fundraise money for the Victoria Therapeutic Riding Association. Tickets will be sold on Wednesday and Friday at lunch in the main foyer. Tickets are by donation minimum $4.

We have openings for breakfast club volunteers on Monday mornings from 7:30- 8:45. You are welcome to try it out and see if this is something you would enjoy doing. Please see the office if you are interested! 

Attention Grads!! Are you thinking of applying to Camosun but want some help?  Do you have questions about the programs they offer?  Come and meet with an admissions advisor on Monday, October 24th at lunch in the Learning Commons to get your questions answered.

Homework Help is available every morning from 7:15 am to 8:30 am in room 46 and after school in the learning commons until 4 pm.

Kiwanis Cafe at the Panorama Arena is looking for a couple of students!!  Starting wage $16 hr.  Required qualifications are being able to deal with the public in a polite and courteous manner - be a team player - able to work flexible hours (mostly weekends).  If interested, please contact: Jean @  (250) 652-8386

Victoria Chinatown Care Society is looking for Student Activity Assistant Volunteers. Heritage Acres and The Vancouver Island Model Engineers are hosting “The Halloween Pumpkin Express”.  They are DESPERATE!! Volunteers are needed for supervising Halloween activities, and getting props ready prior to the event!  Sunday, October 16th from 10:30-2:30, setting up graveyard ghosts, witches and games.  Friday, October 21 & Saturday, October 22 from 4:00pm-8:00pm, Sunday, October 23 from 2:00pm-6:00pm.  If interested, please email dianawigen@gmail.com to sign up and get more information. 

LEARNING TO LEAD™ TRADES | NOVEMBER 25-27, 2022     Minerva's Learning to Lead™ Trades program is for self-identified girls who are looking to gain confidence in their leadership, and are curious to learn about the career prospects in Trades.
