GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS
Indigenous Leadership is today at lunch in room 48. Please be there and be on time!

Please join us for our Monthly PAC meeting! Our first meeting will take place this evening at 6:45pm in the Learning Commons. All are welcome! If you are interested in getting involved with the PAC this year, please get in touch with us at stellyssecondarypac@gmail.com.
Any grade 11's interested in attending the Canadian Universities Event at Claremont on Tuesday Sept 29th, please pick up a field trip form from the counselling offices and have a parent/guardian sign it as well as a teacher permission slip signed by your 3rd and 4th block teachers. Both forms must be returned by Thursday the 24th (originally Friday but it’s a pro-d day so school is not in session).

GRAD 2027
Grads - tell your parents! For any parents interested in finding out more about the After Grad planning and how you can be involved, there is a “handover” meeting on Thursday, September 24th at 7pm in the Learning Commons. Our outgoing 2026 grad parents will be sharing information and handing over the reins to our 2027 grad parents. Please come out and consider being a part of the planning committee for this amazing Dry Grad event that happens after the prom on June 29th.
The first Scholarship meeting is happening today at lunch in the Career Centre!
Stelly's Dry Grad Bottle Drive: Saturday, September 26th, 9 AM - 12 PM in the Stelly's Parking Lot. Bring your bottles, cans, and refundable recyclables — every bit helps the Grad Class of 2027! The Junior Boys soccer roster has been posted. Team members, please come to the large gym at the start of lunch for a brief meeting today.
CAREER CENTRE
If you are a student in grades 10,11, or 12 currently working or volunteering and interested in earning work experience credits, please visit the Career Centre. The last day to register is this Thursday, September 24th.
Students in grades 10, 11, or 12 who are interested in attending Police Camp during Spring Break 2027 are invited to attend an information session in the Career Centre on Tuesday, September 29th at lunchtime.
Are you looking for volunteer opportunities? The Run for The Cure is in need of volunteers for their event on October 4th, please see Ms Lizama in the career centre for more information.
The District of Central Saanich is looking for students 16+ to work as Greeters during the upcoming General Local Election on October 17th. This is a paid position and shifts will be 4-hours long. Please see us in the Career Centre for more information.
