There will be a basketball practice TODAY after school for any SR. BOYS who are wanting to play basketball this year.

All girls who are interested in playing basketball! There are tryouts TODAYafterschool in the big gym. Tryouts start right after school in the big gym, be ready to go! If you have questions please go ask Mr. Hart. 

There are 117 Diploma Verifications missing from the Grade 12’s. Please hand in at the Career Centre ASAP!

SOCIAL JUSTICE CLUB is looking for volunteers to participate in the “We Scare Hunger Food Drive”  taking place on October 31st. Please see Mrs. Wallace in Room 30 before Friday, October 28th for more information.

STELLY'S HALLOWEEN EVENTS -   TODAY is Scary Hair Day   and a Haunted House at Lunch.  Thursday is  Twin Day  +  Treat Trolley.  Stelly's leadership students will be around all week with prizes and treats for Stingers showing off their Halloween Spirit!  Halloween Scavenger Hunt - Monday to Friday hunt for hidden prize tickets to redeem for cafeteria cards and prizes.

Homework Help is available every morning from 7:15 am to 8:30 am in room 46 and after school in the learning commons until 4 pm.

Airline ground services company at the Victoria International Airport is looking to hire full and part-time baggage handlers. Job consists of unloading/loading aircraft of baggage and freight, marshalling, towing aircraft, aircraft interior cleaning. Employees must be able to drive baggage tugs, belt loaders & other ramp side equipment. Starting wage $18.25/hr with steady increases.  Must enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather, be able to lift up to 50lbs, plus be able to kneel, crawl, and work in tight spaces.  Having a driver's license is a plus.  Evenings/mornings/weekend shifts available.  Apply to: canwest_yyj@telus.net

Claremont Secondary is hosting the 13th Annual "SCREAMFEST" Halloween event Oct. 26, & 27 from 5:30 to 9:00 each night.  Tickets are on sale at Stelly's in the main foyer at lunch Thursday, Monday & Tuesday.   Tickets are $10 per person. Ticket includes event entry, a chance to win contests, draws & door prizes, plus 5 coupons for access to the famous Haunted Walk or for use at the midway games or food at the BBQ and concession.   For planning your visit to the Haunted Walk: 6:00-7:30 is ‘SPOOKY’ for the younger visitors.   8:00-9:00 is ‘SCARY’ for the braver visitors. Proceeds from ticket sales at Stelly's benefit programs and events here at our school.

UVic Virtual Parents Night- Nov 13th    -  Parent nights are for parents and guardians of high school students, but your students are welcome to join you! In these online events, we'll answer your questions about admission requirements, scholarships and upcoming application deadlines, and offer advice on helping your children successfully transition to life in university.  Events are scheduled in Pacific Time. LEARNING TO LEAD™ TRADES | NOVEMBER 25-27, 2022     Minerva's Learning to Lead™ Trades program is for self-identified girls who are looking to gain confidence in their leadership, and are curious to learn about the career prospects in Trades.
