Stelly’s Senior Drama presents “CLUE” … A play based on the popular board game. Tickets are $10 each. This wonderful play starts on Wednesday, January 11th through 13th at 7pm or on Saturday, January 14th at 2pm. Come On Out and check out this Fabulous Play!!!

INDIGENOUS LUNCHEON (Grade 11 & 12’s) is happening on Wednesday in the Dining Room. All Grade 11 & 12 Indigenous students WELCOME!
Do you like board games? Then come to a games night hosted by the music department and The Board Game Cafe. The Board Game Cafe will be bringing a bunch of games for you to try! The Game Night is Friday January 27th from 6-8pm and it is happening in the Dining Room. Tickets are $10 and are on sale in the office. Only 50 tickets will be for sale so be sure to get your tickets early.
Grade 9 students were given their immunization consent forms in December and we ask that they be completed and signed by parents and returned to the school office As Soon As Possible !

CAREER CENTRE
Parents as Education and Career Coaches Workshop - VIRTUAL ZOOM SESSION: an interactive session designed to support parents in guiding their student in making informed decisions about their education and career choices after high school. Happening on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm. Registration is required!
Virtual Parents Night - Parent nights are for parents and guardians of high school students, but your students are welcome to join you! In these online events, we'll answer your questions about admission requirements, scholarships and upcoming application deadlines, and offer advice on helping your children successfully transition to life in university. Events are scheduled in Pacific Time. Registration closes two hours before an event. Happening on TUESDAY, January 17th at 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
Pacific Design Academy is hosting their first Open House in their new location in Bastion Square on January 17, 2023, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. PDA offers amazing programs for students interested in Graphic Design - Interior Design - Fashion Design - Architectural Building Technology - Photography & Imaging - App & Web Development - Motion Picture Production - Residential Interior Design (Online). CUE (CANADIAN UNIVERSITIES EVENT) will be hosting a virtual event for students on January 19 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The event allows students to visit with university reps from over 50 Canadian post-secondary institutions. This event is geared towards Grade 11 and 12 students and their supporters. Each university will have a drop-in style virtual booth where students can choose which universities they wish to visit and can ask questions about programs, admissions, scholarships, housing and more. THE DISTRICT OF SAANICH is hosting a Job Fair on Thursday, January 26th, 2023 from 3:00-6:00 pm. The Career Fair will include a variety of departments including Engineering and Public Works / Parks / Fire / Police / Recreation / Community Services / Building Maintenance / IT / Planning and Development / Administrative Support. There are many positions for current students (mostly grade 10 to 12). For example Recreation and Community Services is always looking for Program Assistants/Leaders for our camps or Swim instructors for our two pool facilities or in Public Works as Labourer or Compost Attendant. Otherwise, it is a great place to chat with hiring managers for future career opportunities and discuss types of certifications etc that might be required for specific positions
