Stelly's leadership students will be around all week with prizes and treats for Stingers showing off their Halloween Spirit!  Halloween Scavenger Hunt - Monday to Friday hunt for hidden prize tickets to redeem for cafeteria cards and prizes.

SOCIAL JUSTICE CLUB is looking for volunteers to participate in the “We Scare Hunger Food Drive”  taking place on October 31st. Please see Mrs. Wallace in Room 30 before Friday, October 28th for more information.

The University of Victoria’s School of Health Information Science is hosting:

  • In-person Open House on Tuesday, October 25th, 4:30-6:00 pm at the University of Victoria’s Human and Social Development building (HSD) in room A240 (light refreshments will be served.)

Claremont Secondary is hosting the 13th Annual "SCREAMFEST" Halloween event Oct. 25, 26, & 27 from 5:30 to 9:00 each night.  Tickets are on sale at Stelly's in the main foyer at lunch Thursday, Monday & Tuesday.   Tickets are $10 per person. Ticket includes event entry, a chance to win contests, draws & door prizes, plus 5 coupons for access to the famous Haunted Walk or for use at the midway games or food at the BBQ and concession.   For planning your visit to the Haunted Walk: 6:00-7:30 is ‘SPOOKY’ for the younger visitors.   8:00-9:00 is ‘SCARY’ for the braver visitors. Proceeds from ticket sales at Stelly's benefit programs and events here at our school. 

Homework Help is available every morning from 7:15 am to 8:30 am in room 46 and after school in the learning commons until 4 pm.

UVic Virtual Parents Night- Nov 13th    -  Parent nights are for parents and guardians of high school students, but your students are welcome to join you! In these online events, we'll answer your questions about admission requirements, scholarships and upcoming application deadlines, and offer advice on helping your children successfully transition to life in university.  Events are scheduled in Pacific Time. LEARNING TO LEAD™ TRADES | NOVEMBER 25-27, 2022     Minerva's Learning to Lead™ Trades program is for self-identified girls who are looking to gain confidence in their leadership, and are curious to learn about the career prospects in Trades. The 2022 virtual program is being offered on November 25th 6 pm to 8 pm - November 26th 10am to 4 pm - November 27th 10 am to 12 pm.   Apply before November 14, 2022.  See the Saanich Career Education website at: https://careered.sd63.bc.ca/
