GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS
Student Verification Information Forms are now overdue. Students, if you have not received yours yet, please come by the main office to pick one up - it is very important that we have an updated copy each year, regardless whether there are changes or not. Each one needs to be signed by a parent or legal guardian and returned to the office asap.
For those of you new to the school, or wanting to know where to pay for school activities/opportunities, our student fee payment portal is where it’s at (including, but not limited to, textbook deposit, activity fee, and yearbook purchase). You can find the link here - just follow the instructions for signing up or signing in. Please note that it’s recommended that yearbooks are pre-purchased prior to Spring Break to ensure your student gets one if they want one - we only order a few extras, so don’t miss out!

ATHLETICS
There will be a Cross Country meeting today at lunch in room 19 to talk about today’s race.
Junior Boys Volleyball team are to meet in Mr. Gillespie’s room, number 36, at lunch today.
Congratulations to the Senior Boys Soccer team who won their game yesterday against Vic High! Next up, they are playing Parkland at Blue Heron tomorrow! Go Stingers!
CLUBS & CLASSES
Thursday after school is the first Dungeons & Dragons campaign of the year. Come join us for an evening of adventure, camaraderie, ridiculousness and pizza! See Ms. Cunningham in room 48 for more information!
GRAD 2026
2026 Grad Parents - we need your help! This Saturday is the monthly bottle drive and we are looking for lots of volunteers to sort through all the donations and could use your help! Come by from 9am to 12pm and lend a hand in raising funds to support the After Grad Event! We are also looking for donations - this is our biggest fundraiser so please consider dropping off your empties! 9-12 Saturday September 27th in Stelly’s parking lot.
Grad Photo booking is now open! Artona’s mobile studio will be at the school from October 11th to 16th and bookings can be made through their website (https://artona.com/bookings). There is also a QR code posted on the Grad board in the main foyer which also works to book your sitting.
CAREER CENTRE
If you are a student currently working and interested in earning work experience credits, please visit the Career Centre. The deadline to sign up is Friday, September 26th.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Victoria is coming to the Career Centre Wednesday, October 1st at lunchtime to speak to grade 11 & 12 students about volunteer opportunities.
Students in grades 10, 11, or 12 who are interested in attending Police Camp during Spring Break 2026 are invited to attend an information session in the Career Centre on Monday, October 6th at lunchtime.
Are you a grade 11 or 12 student interested in a career in Health? Health X Day is happening at Camosun on Wednesday, October 15th. Sign up at the Career Centre. The deadline to apply is October 10th.
