EVENTS

Hey Guys, Gals, and Non-Binary Pals!  We are hosting our first GSA meeting in room 48, just past the computer labs, on TODAY at lunch.  Everyone is welcome to come and join us for community, conversation, and safe fun space to be yourself!  Hope to see you there!

School garden club: A reminder that today at lunch is the first meeting of the school garden club in room 40. There are lots of clubs in the school—so for students are interested we are going to meet on Tuesdays AND Thursdays. Please see Mr. Siebert if you have any questions.

Stelly’s Dry Grad bottle drive is happening THIS Saturday, September 23rd from 9am to noon in the Stelly’s parking lot. Drop off your empties and support the Grads of 2024!

CAREER CENTRE

This Saturday there will be a Volunteer Recruitment Carnival at Shoal Centre from 1-5pm! Are you looking for Volunteer Hours? Check it out.

Big Brothers and Big Sisters is looking for volunteers! A rep from the organization will be here Thursday, September 28th to talk about the opportunity as well as accept application forms that are available in the Career Centre NOW! Come fill one out and join us over the lunch break next Thursday to chat about connecting with a child as a mentor. 

Listen up! The Young Engagement Program (AKA YEP) is offering Foodsafe and First Aid training at a MASSIVE discount. These fun and interactive training programs are super handy life skills and look great on a resume. Register before it's too late! You must be a YEP member to participate but YEP membership is free. First come first served!

CUE Event permission forms are due today in the Career Centre. You don't want to miss the Canadian Universities Event.  Connect with local University reps from over 50 institutions across Canada.
