The cafeteria will be closed today - pizza will be available to purchase for $3/slice.
Orange tee shirts and hoodies for sale this week at lunch. The cost is $15 for shirts and $35 for hoodies. Cash or Debit accepted.
EVENTS
The Social Justice Club will have its first meeting at lunch on Thursday in Room 30. This club is open for all students and staff who want to have fun while helping others and our planet. Bring your lunch and a friend and help us decide what actions we will take this year. See Mrs. Wallace in room 30 for more information.
Hey Guys, Gals, and Non-Binary Pals! We are hosting our first GSA meeting today in room 48, just past the computer labs, on Thursday at lunch. Everyone is welcome to come and join us for community, conversation, and safe fun space to be yourself! Hope to see you there!

CAREER CENTRE
Stingers, are you looking to log some volunteer hours and have a blast doing it? Mark your calendar - this Saturday there will be a Volunteer Recruitment Carnival at Shoal Centre from 1-5pm! The purpose of the carnival is to connect prospective volunteers with local organizations in a fun setting. There will be prizes, food, a photo booth and other Carnival fun things! But wait, there's more! Volunteers are needed to help with the carnival event itself to help with set up, take down and helping out during the event in various roles.
Minerva presents 'Learning To Lead' - a free leadership program open to self identified girls in grades 10-12. Gain confidence, connections, and self knowledge through interactive workshops and activities focused on STEM and TECH within a fun and supportive community.
Interested in a career in the Sports Industry? Learn about the programs offered by the 'Centre for Sports & Exercise Education' at Camosun! There is a free information session on October 20th which will cover all things applying, the various diplomas and degrees offered, and more.
Big Brothers and Big Sisters is looking for volunteers! Make a BIG difference in the life of a child by donating your time and energy as an In School Teen Mentor.
Listen up! The Young Engagement Program (AKA YEP) is offering Foodsafe and First Aid training at a MASSIVE discount. These fun and interactive training programs are super handy life skills and look great on a resume. Register before it's too late! You must be a YEP member to participate but YEP membership is free. First come first served!
Are you in Grade 11 or 12 and planning on going to University? You don't want to miss the Canadian Universities Event aka "CUE" at Claremont on September 26th from 1-3pm. Connect with local University reps from over 50 institutions across Canada. Field trip forms are available in the Career Centre and due by Thursday, September 21st . We have 60 spots available and buses to get you there and back. You should come!
