Here is an extra-curricular activity being offered by the Castaway Wanderers for anyone interested in rugby:

Castaway Wanderers Rugby Club is hosting a FREE Try Rugby Day for youth of all ages from ages 6-18.

The event will be hosted at Windsor Park, 2451 Windsor Road, from 10:30 am - 12 this Saturday, September 16th.

Join our fun and welcoming program for a morning of fun at Windsor Park!

Home Hardware in Sidney is hiring part time Sales Associates for after school and weekend work. Drop by in person to their store on Beacon Ave with a resume and cover letter. 

Interested in working in communications as a Social Media Coordinator? The Victoria Genealogical Society is hiring a Volunteer Social Media Coordinator to help maintain the VGS's social media channels. Great way to log some volunteer hours and learn at the same time!

Here's another volunteer opportunity for those interested in working in non-profit, and are passionate about youth mental, physical and sexual health. The Saanich Peninsula Youth Health Clinic is looking for volunteers . 

The Canadian Cancer Society is offering a virtual volunteer fair the evening of Monday, September 18th at 4 pm. They will cover a variety of volunteer opportunities for students from event planning to advocacy. Go to www.cancer.ca/volunteerfair for more information

Are you in Grade 11 or 12 and planning on going to University? You don't want to miss the Canadian Universities Event aka "CUE" at Claremont on September 26th from 1-3pm. Connect with local University reps from over 50 institutions across Canada. Field trip forms are available in the Career Centre and due by Thursday, September 21st . We have 60 spots available and buses to get you there and back. You should come!
