Welcome back Stelly’s Stingers! The hive has been buzzing the last couple of weeks and the staff have been busy meeting, greeting, and reorganizing! We are so fortunate to have an amazing custodial team that has been working hard to get the school ready for everyone - we would like to thank each and every one of you for all your great work! We are excited to have new faces around the school and look forward to the year ahead!

Here are some dates and events to note:

And here's some news from the Career Centre!

Home Hardware in Sidney is hiring PT Sales Associates for after school and weekend work. Drop by in person to their store on Beacon Ave with a resume and cover letter.

Interested in working in communications as a Social Media Coordinator? The Victoria Genealogical Society is hiring a Volunteer Social Media Coordinator to help maintain the VGS's social media channels. Great way to log some volunteer hours and learn at the same time!

Here's another volunteer opportunity for those interested in working in non-profit, and are passionate about youth mental, physical and sexual health. The Saanich Peninsula Youth Health Clinic is looking for volunteers .

As always for all things careers, more information is posted on the career board, or you can always pop in and talk to Heidi or Katherine in the career centre!

International students are invited to their first luncheon on Thursday September 21st from 11:30 to 12:15

   Stay Golden . . . and Maroon!
