GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS 

Music Classes are starting up:

• Vocal Jazz > Thurs. Sept. 10th (during lunch in the band room)
• Senior Band > Thurs. Sept. 10th (after school 3:15-4:30pm in the band room)
• Choir > Fri. Sept. 11th (during lunch in the band room)
• Jazz Band > Mon. Sept. 14th (after school 3:15-4:30pm in the band room)
• Junior Band > Monday, Wednesday and Friday (block 1 class)

If you are a student who was confirmed on the school bus over the summer, we have your bus card! Please come to the foyer in front of the main office to sign for yours. Grade 9 and 10, pickup is today at lunch, grade 11 and 12, pickup is tomorrow at lunch.

Your students daily attendance is now live in Brightspace. Please see the district website for information and a video on how to access Brightspace: https://saanichschools.ca/d2l-brightspace

Did you leave items in your locker last year? If so, we have some bags in the front foyer with locker numbers on them that have the contents. Please claim as soon as possible - they will be donated at the end of the month.

Thursday September 17 > Welcome BBQ & Meet the Teacher night (BBQ 4:30-5:15pm; Welcome to Meet the Teacher Assembly starts at 5:30; Move to block 1 at 6:00pm) 

GRAD 2027

The first Scholarship meeting is happening on Tuesday September 22nd. Stay tuned closer to the date for location.

ATHLETICS

Anyone interested in being part of the rowing team must attend a meeting today at lunch in the Career Centre (Thursday, September 10th). 

Calling all Senior Boys Volleyball athletes. Please come see Mrs. Froehler in the art room at lunch today to get your forms. You need them signed before the Friday tournament or you won’t play!
