GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS
There will be a representative from UVic at Stelly’s tomorrow at lunch in the library to do a presentation on UVic programs and the admissions process. We hope to see lots of grade 12’s there!
Stelly's is having a Halloween Dance October 30th in the MPR. Tickets will go on sale for $5 in the main foyer starting next week.

October 11 - 16 - Grad Photos (need to book your time slot: see note below)

October 20 - Retake / Absentee Photo Day
October 24 - Pro-D Day (school not in session)
October 29 - “Parents as Career Coaches” - MS Teams event (6:30-7:45pm). For information and to register, do so here.
ATHLETICS
Junior Boys Volleyball play league games at 4pm today in the big gym against Oak Bay and Vic High. Come support our Stingers!

Here are a couple of upcoming fundraising events:
The first meat draw at Brewsky’s Taphouse is coming up on Saturday October 18. We still need another volunteer or two. You can sign up for a shift at https://signup.com/go/DSAqgud. Shifts are from 1:45 – 4:00 and are a fun way to raise money.
The 2026 Stelly's Dry Grad Planning Committee is selling beautiful Christmas flowers to raise funds for a memorable, fun and safe Dry Grad After Party for our GRADUATES!! Please support us by purchasing one or more of these festive flower arrangements for yourself, friends, family, neighbours, the office or anyone else you can think of. There's no limit on how many you can buy and it's all for a great cause! Orders must be in by Nov 26th and order pick up is December 10th in the Career Centre. Bottle drives will be taking place on the last Saturday of every month. The next bottle drive is Saturday, Oct 25th from 9am-Noon at Stellys. Please come lend a hand. A big thank you goes out to the organizers of the Saanich Fair. All the empties from the fair were donated to the Dry After Grad event and raised $2,560!
CAREER CENTRE
Are you a grade 11 or 12 student interested in a career in Health? Health X Day is happening at Camosun on Wednesday, October 15th. Sign up at the Career Centre. The deadline to apply is October 10th.
