GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS

 

Stelly’s Spirit Week continues! 

Thursday Oct. 30th: Plaid Party-come dressed in your plaid or flannel

Friday Oct. 31st: Costumes-wear your Halloween costumes to school

 

Congratulations and a huge thank you to our Junior & Senior Bands, Vocal Jazz, Choir and Jazz Band who performed an amazing concert last night! Thank you to everyone who came out and showed support for our young musicians!

 

Come to the main foyer at lunch today and buy a treat from the bake sale in support of Stelly’s Music!

 

The Halloween Dance is TONIGHT! Tickets are available from Ms. Miller in Rm 22 at lunch or at the door ($5).

 

Halloween / Costume Contest: October 31st

There will be a Spooky Bakesale and costume photos taking place in the main foyer at lunchtime on Friday. Photos will be posted in the grade wide google classroom. Students will be asked to vote during the end of block 4. Voting will stay open until the following morning.

 

On Halloween night there will be fireworks (at 7:15), a bonfire and Stelly’s very own “Emergency Exit” will be playing live music at the North Saanich Fire Hall (on Wain Road). All donations will go towards Santas Anonymous!

 

Attention Stelly’s Stingers, do you like to act, dance or sing? Sign up for our fall coffee concert taking place on *November 12*. The sign-up sheet is located outside the band room. Sign-ups close next week so get your name in soon!

November 12 - Fall Coffee Concert (Doors open at 6:30pm, show starts at 7pm) in the Multi-Purpose Room

 

ATHLETICS

There will be Junior Boys Basketball tryouts happening on Thursday November 6th at 3:15 in the large gym.

GRAD 2026

 

A representative from the University of Calgary will be here Monday November 3rd after school at 3:05 in the Career Centre for any students interested in learning about U of C offerings and admissions.

 

A representative from Royal Roads will be here on Wednesday November 5th at lunch in the main foyer for any students interested in Royal Roads and the programs they offer.

 

Stelly’s Grad 2026 Winter Store is now OPEN! Get your grad gear in time for Christmas break and all the upcoming grad events! The online store is open now until November 13th and clothing is set to arrive around December 10th. https://store.passionsports.ca/grad26/shop/home.
