GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS

The Culture Club invites all International students from Japan to sit on our guest panel today at lunch time in room 49.  Everyone is welcome!

The Halloween dance is TONIGHT! Have you bought your tickets yet? We also have Screamfest tickets available. Both are available for sale at lunch in the main foyer! Please note: the dance tickets will only be available today at lunch in the main foyer - no ticket sales at the door.

The Stelly's BIPOC & Allies club will be meeting in the counselling conference room this Friday, October 27th at lunchtime.

Would you like to go trick or treating and help others at the same time?  All students are invited to join the Social Justice Club's "We Scare Hunger" food drive on Halloween.  You choose your route and time to collect food donations and you keep the candy!  See Mrs. Wallace in room 30 for more information.

Blow Out The Dust Concert Monday October 30th at 7pm in the Multi Purpose Room. Admission is by donation. 

This concert will feature: Choir, Vocal Jazz, Jazz Band, Junior Band, and Senior Band. 

There will be a bake sale at intermission. Everyone is welcome! 

The Stelly's Fall order for school merch is now open! Get yourself a cozy hoodie, comfy sweats or a trendy Stelly's tote to rock your Stinger pride! Orders over $50 will receive a free Stelly's tumbler! Links to the website can be found posted around the school or linked on The Hive's Instagram. Deadline to order is November 10th.

Senior Boys Basketball tryouts will take place Monday October 30 and Wednesday Nov 1 from 315-445. Any questions? See Mr Peden.

Junior Girls Volleyball A Practice at 3:30pm today

The Junior Boys Volleyball team has a game today at SJ Willis from 4-6pm. Go Stingers!

GRAD 2024

Have you booked your grad photos yet? You MUST book a time in order to have your graduation photos taken as they are done separately from school photos. The times are only available until November 3rd so go online to schedule yours today!

Hey Grads! Want to reduce the cost of your Dinner/Dance ticket? Consider fundraising by selling winter plants. Send your family, friends, and local businesses to the link found in the Google classroom to order plants. Have them put 

your name in the "Special Notes" field. $5 from each plant ordered will go to reduce *your* cost for the Dinner/Dance. All orders must be in by November 10th at midnight. Plants will be delivered on November 28th to be picked up from the Career Centre after school.

Lordco Auto Parts is hiring multiple positions in Sidney! Auto parts representative, cashier/customer service and delivery driver positions are available. 

Mary's Bleue Moon is hiring a dishwasher! Pay is $16.75/hr plus a kitchen staff meal per shift and cash tips every second week. Stop by in person with your resume .. they're hiring now! No experience required.
