ATHLETICS

After a great regular league season, finishing first in their pool,  the Junior Boys Volleyball Team competed at the City Championships last week where they achieved bronze. Congratulations Junior Stingers for advancing to the Islands Championships in Courtenay this weekend where they will be fighting for a chance to advance to the Provincial Championships in Burnaby. Go Stingers!!!

Stelly's rowers had a wild weekend at the City Champs Regatta. Novice boats showed how much they'd learned this season across five races, while the senior quad fought hard for first and second places in their heats, and Billy Taylor won all three of his races in the single. If you see a rower today, give them a high five!

There is a Wrestling Team meeting today at lunch in room 22.

There will be Junior Boys Basketball tryouts happening on Thursday November 6th at 3:15 in the large gym.

To keep up to date on all things athletics, please see the Stelly’s Athletics webpage (https://sites.google.com/saanichschools.ca/stellys-athletics/home) or follow us on Instagram (@sd63stellys and @stellys_athletics)
