Global Gala is coming up on November 23rd from 5-8:30pm. Tickets are $15 and available from students in Global Perspectives 11/12 and at the door (children 12 & under are free)! More details to come! Everyone is welcome!

ATHLETICS

Junior Boys Basketball have a practice this Friday from 3-4:30pm. The team roster is posted by the gym.

GRAD 2024

There is a Scholarship Meeting coming up on Wednesday the 15th at lunchtime in the Learning Commons.

Grad Winter Formal is Wednesday December 6th! Mark your calendars for this evening of dancing, food, games and a photo booth! More details will be shared as they become available.

CAREER CENTRE

Are you passionate about strengthening food systems and environmental stewardship? Looking to log some volunteer hours? Rise Up is looking for youth to volunteer from November until March. Deadline to apply is today, November 14th. More info on the career board and on the Career Ed site

Volunteer at the Shoal Centre Christmas Craft fair! YEP and Beacon Community Services are seeking volunteers to help out at this fun event that will get you in the Christmas spirit! The event runs from 9:30am-2pm. For more info email yep@beaconcs.ca

Have you heard of Chatter High? It's a School and Student Daily Quiz competition open to high schools across Canada, it's free, and there are over thirty thousand dollars in cash prizes to be won! Check out chatterhigh.com for more info. 

Kaleidoscope Theatre is seeking student volunteers to work in front of house during productions, as well as support our popular Family FUNday events!  Volunteering for a performance also allows the students to see shows for free! If you're interested in theatre/drama/entertainment this is a great way to learn the ropes and an awesome organization to work with. 

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

There is an International Pizza Lunch and Program Meeting for all international students on Thursday November 16 in the Learning Commons during Lunch Block.  

SISP Christmas Dance - Registration for the SISP Christmas Dance on December 7 is still  open.  Sign up information is in Google classroom and/or on the event posters.
