After coming back from being down 1-0 at half, the Stingers secured the bronze medal with 3 goals in the second half. They finish the season having beaten all the lower island schools and with a City Championship trophy. Congrats girls - you made your school proud.
Good luck to our Senior Girls Soccer Team who are participating in the Island Championships at EMCS today and tomorrow. Good luck Stingers!

FROM AFTER GRAD PARENT COMMITTEE
Meat draws are done for the year! Thank you to Yvonne Campbell and her meat draw crew for running the event.
Volunteer positions for the after grad event are nearly complete! There are a few key positions that still need filling:
- Strolling photographer: Any photography enthusiasts with a good camera out there? We still need someone to take candid shots of the kids during the event. This position is a 10pm - 12am spot, so it ends at a (relatively) decent time.
- Bus riders: We still need 2 chaperones for the bus ride from UVic to the Coop at Keating Cross Road after the event with the students.
Our next bottle drive is on Saturday, May 23rd. This is the last bottle drive before graduation, and we'd like to make it a big one! Please spread the word and bring us your empties! We have pamphlets that you can hand out in your neighbourhood. If you'd like some, please email stellysdrygrad@gmail.com.
