GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS
Congratulations to all the performers at last night’s Spring Coffee Concert! You all did such a great job! Thank you to the audience members who came out to support our young performers!
We are sharing information regarding the Wallace Drive closure that is scheduled beginning Monday March 10th at 6:00am. They will be working on and occupying the full width of Wallace Drive between Stelly’s Cross Rd and West Saanich Rd, which means a full road closure as well as no access to Willow Way Trail. Please note that traffic will be heavier along Stelly’s Cross Road during this time, so please allow yourself extra time to navigate it during the busier mornings and afternoons.
The lost and found tables are all set up in the main foyer! We are asking all students to please come and have a look through the items and take home your missing water bottle, hoody, binder (or anything else you may have lost). All items not claimed will be donated on March 14th.
We still have some outstanding course selection forms which were due on Friday. If you have not yet turned yours in, please come to the career centre to drop it off.
ATHLETICS
There will be a quick Track & Field meeting in room 19 today at lunch.

GRAD 2025
Parents of 2025 Grads! Mark your calendars for Wednesday March 12th, from 7-8pm. We will be having an important, in-person information meeting about the Dry After-Grad event happening on June 26th, 2025. This is a parent only meeting. To receive details on how to join this meeting, and future information about the dry grad event, you will need to join our distribution list by emailing your contact info to: stellysdrygrad@gmail.com. Also, join the Facebook group: "Stelly's Secondary School Parents Dry After-Grad". We look forward to seeing you on March 12th, at 7pm in the Learning Commons.
SCRAP METAL RECYCLING: There’s a large blue metal recycling bin in the upper parking lot by the street that is awaiting your scrap metal donations. If you have any metal stuff at home, in your yard or in the shed that you want to get rid of, it’s accessible 24/7 for drop-off and proceeds go towards the 2025 Stelly’s Dry Grad!
CAREER CENTRE
DND is coming to the Career Centre Wednesday, March 12 @ lunchtime to talk to students about their paid summer work experience program (FSWEP). Students will be working in unique trades to support the naval fleet.
If you are interested in this program, please come to the Career Centre for an application form.
The Sidney Employment Expo 2025 will be held at the Mary Winspear Centre on Wednesday, March 12 from 2-5pm. You will have a chance to connect with over 30 local employers offering a wide range of positions. Click here for more information.
