GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS
This PRIDE month, did you know that:
- The rainbow flag was created in 1978 by activist Gilbert Baker. The rainbow array of colours on the #Pride flag represents the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community.
Tickets are still on sale for Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic! Running June 5th-7th at 7pm & June 8th at 1pm. Tickets now available at Stelly's front office during school hours, or email abartlett@saanichschools.ca to reserve! Tickets are $10 each. June 12 - Stelly's Junior Musical Theatre presents: "Oddballs and Outcasts": A musical variety show at 7pm! Tickets are $5 at the door. Doors open at 6:30
June 18 - An Evening of Performing Arts. Performances from Intermediate/Advanced dance, Junior Musical Theatre and Stelly's musicians! Doors open at 6:30, the show starts at 7pm! Tickets are $5 at the door.
GRAD 2024
Friday June 7th at 2:45pm is the Grad waterfight! Bring your own water dispensers and leave dry towels and clothing in your car because there’s no re-entry into the school.
Hello Grads, Grad parents and guardians - the Dry Grad committee has been working hard on organising a fun evening for Stelly's 2024 grads. More information on the evening can be found here: https://stellysdryaftergrad.square.site. The ppt has a lot of excellent information in it.
Sign ups have already occurred and there have been some times at lunch for grads to pay their $20. Grads can also send an e-transfer (stellysgrad24@gmail.com). Now that information about authorised guests is being sent out, if grads have an authorised guest, payment for their guest to attend Dry Grad must also be completed, please.

Dry After Grad Clothing Instructions 2024
Grad Tickets:
If you have not received your ceremony tickets, please check your junk folder or see Mrs. Pryer in the office. Extra ceremony tickets are now available to purchase for $10 through UVic's Ticket Centre, either in person or by phone: 250-721-8480. A limit of 2 additional tickets will be set for one week to allow everyone an opportunity to buy extra tickets. As of Tuesday, June 11th at 9:30am, extra tickets will be available with no limit.
Wednesday June 12 - There is a mandatory grad rehearsal at lunch in the large gym - you must attend!
Wednesday June 12 - Come out to the grad cap decorating event in the amphitheatre after school. Please bring your own decorating supplies!
