GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS

Grade 12 French Immersion K - 12 Gift Exchange is today from 5:30 - 7:00pm. Participating students should meet in the large gym.

Any students interested in going to Spain and Portugal next March, 2025, please go to an information meeting today at lunch in Ms Lizama's room 49.

Stelly’s Parent Advisory Council presents: Teenage Sexual Health - Parent Info Night > Island Health's Jennifer Gibson presents an informative discussion about being an approachable adult, Thursday February 29th 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the Stelly’s MPR. It’s a free event, however, registration is encouraged for attendance. (To register, click on link here).

Are you in Grade 11 and interested in attending the University of Calgary? There is an opportunity to meet a recruiter on Thursday February 29th at lunchtime in the conference room. Please see Mr. Berger for more information.

ATHLETICS

First Badminton practice will be Friday March 1st from 2:40-3:40pm. We will meet in the large gym. Remember to bring appropriate gym attire.

Junior Girls Volleyball Drop In activity that is open to all grade 9 and 10 girls. This will be happening on Tuesdays after school and starts TODAY! Girls did not need to play on the A or B team this season. Come out for some Queen’s Court style games and warm up. More information available when you attend.

Girls soccer tryouts are today at 3:30 at Centennial Park.

GRAD 2024

Grad Spirit Week is coming up March 12 - 14! On March 12, the theme is Country vs Country Club; March 13, the theme is Tight & Bright; then on the 14th, dress ‘old’ for Senior Day!

CAREER CENTRE

The North Saanich Yacht Club is hiring two students to work part time in the kitchen! Pay is $18/hr plus tips. Duties include dishwashing, food prep, helping on the line, and end of night cleaning.

Central Saanich Little League is looking for both grill and concession attendants for the baseball season from April to June. Earn $17/hr and up having fun gaining skills, earning cash and making friends.

Looking to volunteer? The Inspire Cup International Gymnastics Competition is looking for volunteers.  This event will be at the Victoria Convention Centre March 1-3.  Volunteer positions are available in the following areas: athlete registration, volunteer check-in, and working as access monitors.  Each volunteer gets free admission to the competition for the entire day that they volunteer. 

Earn your Emergency First Aid with CPR / AED Level C at the SHOAL Centre in Sidney on Saturday, April 6th. First Aid skills are super important life skills and they look great on a resume.
