Thank you to all our French Immersion students and families who attended the K-12 gift exchange. What a great joy seeing all of our grade 12’s interact and connect with the kindergarten students. Félicitations Stingers! 

 

Are you single this Valentine's Day? Head down to the Learning Commons to go on a blind date with a book.  All week, students may select a secret blind date book. 

 

Stelly's Robotics Club is having their first meeting today at lunch in room 32.

 

A reminder to all returning and new D&D adventurers that campaigns begin again THIS Thursday at 4:45 in room 48. See you there!

 

Join Stelly’s Performing Arts’ Flower Hour Coffee Concert on Wednesday February 25th at 7pm. Doors will open at 6:30, admission is by donation. Please contact @stellysperformingarts to reserve your table.

GRAD 2026

 

Grads: it’s time to submit your grad quote! Check the link in the Grad Google Classroom for details and to submit. Quotes are due by February 18.

Grads, are you looking for a dress or tux for graduation? The Magic Wand Project is a non-profit organization that offers an eco-friendly and inexpensive alternative to grad outfits for boys and girls. They rent out grad wear for a small cleaning fee. Details can be found at www.themagicwandproject.ca.

CAREER CENTRE

 

Butchart Gardens will be holding their annual job fair Wednesday, February 18 | 5:30pm-7:30pm. They are recruiting for spring and summer employment. If you need help with your resume and cover letter, see us in the Career Centre. 

 

The Canadian Armed Forces will be coming to the Career Centre Thursday, February 19 at lunchtime to talk to students about different career opportunities. 

 

Skills Canada Competitions are coming to Camosun March 6th. Show your skills, compete, and have fun!. For a list of events and to sign up, see your Career teacher. The deadline to apply is February 19th.

 

DND is coming to the Career Centre Monday, March 2nd @ lunchtime to talk to students about their paid summer work experience program (FSWEP). Students will be working in unique trades to support the naval fleet.

If you are interested in this program, please come to the Career Centre for an application form. 

 

Any students who are interested in Math or English tutoring opportunities, please visit the Career Centre to add your name to the list.
