GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS

Thank you very much to Mr. Ziegler and the Junior and Senior Concert Bands, Vocal Jazz, Jazz Band and Choir groups who put on a festive performance last night! So many great songs, Holiday spirit and fun! Congratulations to each and every one of the performers - job well done!

Join the Stelly’s staff on Friday morning, bright and early, for a pancake breakfast! They will be serving students and staff in the main foyer while the Stelly’s Band performs some Holiday tunes outside the front of the school. Come join us from 7:30am until 8:30am on the last day of school for 2025.

Holiday Spirit Week concludes tomorrow! Grade 9’s wear green, grade 10’s wear red, grade 11’s wear white and grade 12’s wear blue (of course).

Stelly’s Holiday Show is coming tomorrow! We are asking for either a non-perishable food item or $1 for entry into the show which begins around noon in the large gym. You will be called down from your block 3 class. We can’t wait to see you there!

The school cafeteria will be closed today and tomorrow in preparation for the Winter Break - there will be no break or lunch service available. We will have pizza sales at lunch today, but no lunch on Friday - please come prepared.

Stelly’s Senior Musical Theatre presents Disney’s DESCENDANTS, coming January 15 to 18, 2026! Tickets are now on sale through the Performing Arts webpage here. There is also a QR code on the posters around the school to purchase tickets online. Tickets are also available through the main office if you’d like to pay by cash. Thank you for your support of our young performers!

Are you in grades 9, 10 or 11 and interested in travelling to The Netherlands, Belgium and France in 2027? The Stelly's Social Studies department will be taking students to explore sites connected to Canadian involvement in the world wars. This will include participation in an anniversary event at the famous Vimy Ridge. Please express interest by scanning the QR code posted around the school or by speaking to Mrs. Wallace or Mr. Loenen. There is also a link to the Expression of Interest form here.

Just a friendly reminder to check the lost and found prior to the break - there are lots of water bottles and clothing items! Anything left will be donated on Friday.
