GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS
Any students who are interested in volunteering at a School Trustee All-Candidates Meeting tomorrow night, please see Mr. Hayes. The meeting is here at Stelly's on Tuesday, October 6 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm.
School ID cards have arrived and will be distributed in your block 1 class tomorrow. If you have a spare in block one, please go to the Learning Commons to pick yours up.
Fishing Club: Students interested in starting a fishing club at Stellys, please meet in room 40 (Mr Sieberts room) at lunchtime on Tuesday October 6th. This club will be based on your input and ideas. Please see Mr. Siebert if you have ideas or questions.

Teen Lounge at Panorama: Looking for something to do on Friday nights, 6-8PM? Teen Lounge at Greenglade is FREE for ages 11-16yrs! Hang out with friends, play games, listen to music, and check out special events like pizza nights, karaoke, and music bingo. There’s also a free shuttle to Panorama for Friday Night Swim, Teen Skate or the weight room (if you've completed Weight Training for Teens)! Teen Lounge does not run on Pro-D days or holidays. We hope to see you there!
Pass It On Boys at Panorama: Pass It On Boys is a FREE after-school program for boys in Grades 8-10, running Wednesdays from October 22 to March 31, 4-6:30 PM. Through games, outdoor adventures, activities, and conversations, youth will build confidence, leadership skills, healthy relationships, and connections with others. Snacks included! Come hang out, meet new people, and get involved in your community.

The first Grad Spirit Week starts today! Monday: Monochrome; Tuesday: Tight n Bright; Wednesday: Jersey Day; Thursday: Twin Day; Friday: Anything but a backpack.
The first After Grad Parent Committee is happening this Wednesday the 7th at 7:15pm in the Learning Commons. Please join in the planning process for your graduate - all parents welcome!
The first Meat Draw at Brewsky’s is happening on Saturday October 17th from 2-4pm. Come out and support the After Grad Parent Committee as they raise funds for the grads’ big day in June!
ATHLETICS
Congratulations to the Stelly’s Rowing Team on a terrific weekend! Our novice 8+ was 3rd overall and 1st in their speed category. Novice girls 4x was 2nd out of 12 & the boys novice 4x’s were 5th and 6th. Our 2x’s were 4th & 5th and our experienced 4x won the B final in the closest race of the day. Super exciting finish to the weekend!
The Jr. Boys Soccer Team takes on Glenlyon Norfolk School at Centennial Field at 3:30 today. Come and cheer on these amazing players! Good luck Stingers!

CAREER CENTRE
The Royal Canadian Navy Career Exploration Day is happening on Wednesday, October 14. If you are interested in going, please see us in the Career Centre as soon as possible. The field trip forms will be due on Wednesday, October 7th. The day will feature interactive activities, demonstrations, and career exploration opportunities.
Youth at the Booth - Elections BC is hiring students ages 15-19 to work at the upcoming provincial general election on October 24th. You can apply online here. For more information see us in the Career Centre.
