GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS
Book Club will meet this Thursday in the Learning Commons. If you did not have a chance to sign up on Clubs' Day, you are still welcome to attend.
Are you interested in travelling to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand: Spring break 2028.
Once again Stelly's is embarking on an amazing adventure! We will be visiting bustling cities, tour ancient temples, try amazing food, and even spend time at an elephant sanctuary. If you are interested in this spring break, 2028 trip, please check out the posters around the school or see Ms Manning in Room 24. There will also be a lunch time meeting on Friday, Oct 2 in room 24 for those interested.
Students - PLEASE make sure you are putting your recycling in the appropriate bin. When you throw garbage into a recycling bin, the whole bin becomes garbage! Thank you for helping out the Stelly’s community.
Looking for something to do on Friday nights? Teen Lounge at Greenglade is FREE for ages 11-16yrs! Hang out with friends, play games, listen to music, and check out special events like pizza nights, karaoke, and music bingo. There’s also a free shuttle to Panorama for Friday Night Swim, Teen Skate or the weight room (if you've completed Weight Training for Teens)! Teen Lounge does not run on Pro-D days or holidays. ATHLETICS
SENIOR GIRLS VOLLEYBALL HOME OPENER! Come support the Senior Girls Volleyball team at their first home game of the season tonight at 6:00 PM in the Big Gym! The theme is BLACKOUT, so wear all black and bring your friends!
The Jr. Boys’ Soccer Team won their hard fought game against Vic High 3-1. Shout out to Cole for making some incredible saves and Johannes for strong work in the mid field.
Any students interested in participating in the Stelly's Curling Team please meet with Mr. Hayes in Room 24 at lunch this Thursday (October 1). If you can't make this meeting, please connect with Mr. Hayes in the office.
CAREER CENTRE
Students in grades 10, 11, or 12 who are interested in attending Police Camp during Spring Break 2027 are invited to attend an information session in the Career Centre today at lunchtime.
The District of Central Saanich is looking for students 16+ to work as Greeters during the upcoming General Local Election on October 17th. This is a paid position and shifts will be 4-hours long. Please see us in the Career Centre for more information.
