GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS
A message from Artona from photo day last week: Don't Miss out on Free Shipping to Your School! All print orders placed before 09/26/2026 at 11:59 pm PST will receive free shipping to the school!
Students - PLEASE make sure you are putting your recycling in the appropriate bin. When you throw garbage into a recycling bin, the whole bin becomes garbage! Thank you for helping out the Stelly’s community.
Any grade 11's interested in attending the Canadian Universities Event at Claremont on Tuesday Sept 29th, please pick up a field trip form from the counselling offices and have a parent/guardian sign it as well as a teacher permission slip signed by your 3rd and 4th block teachers. Both forms must be returned by tomorrow, Thursday the 24th.
Looking for something to do on Friday nights? Teen Lounge at Greenglade is FREE for ages 11-16yrs! Hang out with friends, play games, listen to music, and check out special events like pizza nights, karaoke, and music bingo. There’s also a free shuttle to Panorama for Friday Night Swim, Teen Skate or the weight room (if you've completed Weight Training for Teens)! Teen Lounge does not run on Pro-D days or holidays. GRAD 2027
Grads - tell your parents! For any parents interested in finding out more about the After Grad planning and how you can be involved, there is a “handover” meeting on Thursday, September 24th at 7pm in the Learning Commons. Our outgoing 2026 grad parents will be sharing information and handing over the reins to our 2027 grad parents. Please come out and consider being a part of the planning committee for this amazing Dry Grad event that happens after the prom on June 29th.
Stelly's Dry Grad Bottle Drive: Saturday, September 26th, 9 AM - 12 PM in the Stelly's Parking Lot. Bring your bottles, cans, and refundable recyclables — every bit helps the Grad Class of 2027! CAREER CENTRE
If you are a student in grades 10,11, or 12 currently working or volunteering and interested in earning work experience credits, please visit the Career Centre. The last day to register is today.
Students in grades 10, 11, or 12 who are interested in attending Police Camp during Spring Break 2027 are invited to attend an information session in the Career Centre on Tuesday, September 29th at lunchtime.

The District of Central Saanich is looking for students 16+ to work as Greeters during the upcoming General Local Election on October 17th. This is a paid position and shifts will be 4-hours long. Please see us in the Career Centre for more information.
