Cafeteria Menu

GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS

Grade 11 Parents!  If you are interested in finding out what is involved in planning the After Grad event for 2027, the 2026 planning committee is hosting a Snack and Chat at the bottle drive on Saturday, May 23rd from 9am to noon.  There will be muffins, hot dogs, and coffee, as well as committee members happy to answer questions and share their experience.

Tickets are now on sale for the Stelly’s Senior Drama Production of “THE CHOSEN ONE(s)”! Shows are running June 11th, 12th and 13th at 7pm with a matinee at 1pm on June 13th also. Tickets are available to buy in the main office for $10 each.

We would like to clarify our cafeteria offerings this week, and potentially next week. Due to an equipment issue, our team has needed to pivot, which has impacted our ability to provide our usual menu items. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we wait for the necessary parts and service to arrive and resolve the issue. Thank you for your continued support.

Are you 17 or older and wanting to save a life? Canadian Blood services will be giving a presentation at lunch on Wednesday May 27th in the Learning Commons. Learn how you can become a donor to recipients all over the world - your participation in this event could give a cancer patient a new chance at life. We are excited to see you there!

Attention 2027 grads! The time has come to vote on your grad colour. This colour will be used for grad clothing, and decorations at next year's grad events. Make sure to fill out the Google form posted on your grad Google Classroom! The deadline to vote is FRIDAY MAY 29th.

GRAD 2026

Have you paid your prom fee ($125) yet? All student accounts have now had it added to pay through the online payment system. If you are attending the prom/dinner dance, please log in to pay as soon as possible.

Grads - have you ordered your Recognition Ceremony tickets yet? Just a reminder that you have been sent a ticket link to your student email address. It is very important that you check your student school email as this is the communication method used to send your ceremony tickets and confirmations to. Please see their website to purchase your tickets: https://purchase.tickets.uvic.ca. If you need any assistance, please call the UVic Ticket Centre at 250-721-8480.

Are you wanting to bring a guest to the prom and after grad? Guest applications are due on May 26th and can be picked up in the office. They must be submitted for consideration and review prior to acceptance.

Attention Grads - The Ineligibility List has been updated as of May 19th. There are still lots of grads whose numbers appear, so please check it to ensure your student number isn't listed. If it is, you need to see Mrs. Pryer in the office asap. This is YOUR responsibility - please don’t assume you are in good standing.

BCTransit is offering grade 12 students free bus rides for any two days in June. The GradPASS program aims to help students consider all transportation options when planning a safe ride home at graduation time, and throughout their lives. Come to the office to get your pass!

For any students attending UVic next year: UVic Registration 101 is at lunch on Thursday May 28th in the Learning Commons.  A representative from UVic will be here to walk students through the process of how to register for classes.

After Grad Ticket sales are still open through the website: https://stellys-dry-after-grad.square.site/dry-after-grad-payment. The cost is $25 per attendee - forms must be in and completed in full. We’ve received some incomplete forms and those students have been contacted.

FROM AFTER GRAD PARENT COMMITTEE

Payment for the After Grad event is due now.  The cost is $25 and can be made through our website: https://stellys-dry-after-grad.square.site/dry-after-grad-payment. We currently have more forms than payments.  Guest forms are due by May 26th.

Our next bottle drive is coming up TOMORROW, from 9am to noon in the Stelly's parking lot. This is the final one before grad, so we'd like to make it a big one! Please canvas friends and families for their empties. If you have empties but cannot drop off, please send us an email and we'll try to arrange pick up. stellysdrygrad@gmail.com

We still have a few spots to fill on the big night. They include a strolling photographer, front desk sign out & clothing return, and inflatables monitor. We also still need 2 more volunteers to ride the bus from UVic to the Keating Coop drop off point with the students.

To see where volunteers are needed and to sign up for any of these positions, please go to https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0A4EA5A922A7FAC07-52091808-stellys
