GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS

Calling all potential bead crafters, the beadwork club will be making Red Dress Pins over the next six weeks for Red Dress Day. We will start today in room 48 at lunch. See Ms Cunningham for more details.

Congratulations to the Stelly’s Jazz Band and Singers who performed at The Coda last night with the Bayside Big Band! Great job everyone! You were all amazing!

A representative from MacEwan University in Edmonton will be available in the main foyer at lunchtime on Monday, April 13. Drop by if you’d like to learn more about programs they offer.

Are you missing something, like a water cup, clothing or lunch container? Have you checked the lost and found box? It’s just outside the Career Centre and things keep piling up! Please have a look and if you recognize something, take it home.

GRAD 2026

Just a reminder there is a Grad Parent Information Meeting, happening on Thursday April 9th via Teams (https://tinyurl.com/yftrjb8w). All parents are encouraged to attend as we will be presenting a lot of information related to grad over the next few months, which will be a busy time. Please plan on attending - it starts at 7pm. Please note this is an online only meeting, not in person. Thank you.

The final grad clothing order is now open and online! This is your last chance to grab some Grad 2026 merch, including a new white t-shirt design for grad tie dye (coming up in May). The online store closes April 19th, so get your order in to avoid disappointment. https://store.passionsports.ca/stellysgrad26Spring/shop/home

Hello Stelly's Grads of 2026! Your final opportunity to fundraise to reduce the cost of your Prom tickets is here. Fundraise by selling hanging baskets and bedding plants. Each item sold gets you $5 off of your prom ticket. Either grab a form in the office or send the link to your local family, friends, and businesses. Orders are due on April 17th and plants will arrive May 5th. https://stellyssecondary.growingsmilesfundraising.com/home

Grads, are you looking for a dress or tux for graduation? The Magic Wand Project is a non-profit organization that offers an eco-friendly and inexpensive alternative to grad outfits for boys and girls. They rent out grad wear for a small cleaning fee. Details can be found at www.themagicwandproject.ca.

AFTER GRAD PARENT COMMITTEE

  • Tip Top Tailors Fundraiser!  Parents, if you haven't already suited up your grad, Tip Top Tailors has a fundraising event for us.  For every suit purchased through them, they will donate $25 to the Stelly's After Grad Event.  You will need to show them a barcode connecting you to this fundraiser (please check your inbox and the Facebook page to download the attachment for the barcode). They also have a "Future-Ready Contest" in which the winner receives $10,000.
