GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS
Stelly’s Global Gala is happening on Thursday November 27th from 5-8:30pm. Please come out and support Global Perspectives Grade 12 students’ humanitarian project in Tanzania! There will be a silent auction, food and entertainment. Tickets are $15 and available to purchase from any Global 11 or Global 12 student, as well as at the main office and at the door on the night of the gala.

ATHLETICS
A huge congratulations to the Stelly's swim team. They returned from the BC's this past weekend. All the swimmers represented the school very well and threw down some impressive times. A special mention to our 4x200 relay team of Katie Postlethwaite, Zoe Paterson, Maryn Strosher and Mackenzie Braun who picked up a bronze. Mackenzie also came home with 3 individual medals 2 silver and was the Provincial Champion in the Girls 100 Freestyle.
Good luck to our Senior Boys Soccer Team who are playing in the Provincial Championships today, tomorrow and Wednesday in Vancouver! Go Stingers! We are rooting for you!
Sr Girls Basketball tryouts will be today at 5:15 until 6:45pm in the large gym
Jr Girls Basketball tryouts will be Tuesday, November 18 and Wednesday, November 19 after school

GRAD 2026
Grads - It’s time to dig up a baby picture for the yearbook! Please make sure to upload your baby pictures to the Google form on the Grad Google classroom before the end of November!
A representative from UVic’s Engineering Department will be doing a presentation in the library at lunch on Monday November 24th. This would be of interest to students who might attend UVic to study Engineering, Computer Science and STEM.
Mark your calendars! The PSBC (Post Secondary BC) is coming to Stelly’s on Wednesday November 26th, during 4th block in the small gym. PSBC is made up of over 30 post-secondary institutions, including all public institutions in BC, meaning that the information and resources provided are accurate, comprehensive and always put students first.

CAREER CENTRE
The Victoria Grizzlies are looking for volunteers for their November games. Use this link to sign up. You must sign up at least 24 hours before the game.
The Canadian Coast Guard will be here to talk to students about career opportunities and answer questions on Tuesday, November 18th at lunchtime in the Career Centre.
