GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS
The Culture Club will be meeting today at lunchtime in room 49. See you there!
Thank you to all students who registered for future voting last Friday at the student vote!
Anyone who is 16 or 17 years old, a resident of BC, and a Canadian citizen can sign up, so they are automatically registered to vote when they turn 18. You will need your driver's licence number, care card OR BCEID. It takes under five minutes to complete the form. Please see Ms. Pacheco McKinnon in the Learning Commons for details. Also, A reminder to students who still have their forms to please return them to the Learning Commons by Friday.
Twilight fans—get ready to go back to the place where your obsession began. Leanne Hockley from Victoria, author of Something About Alexa, is coming to Stelly's on October 30 during block 3! Book signing and books for purchase for $15. Please come with the correct change. Please see Ms. Pacheco McKinnon in the Learning Commons by October 23 if you are interested in attending.
The FREE Clothing Rack is overflowing with some great items. See something you like? Take it and wear it. If you have some clothes to donate, please drop them off to Mrs. Vop or the Textiles room.
School photos: For those families that ordered & paid online, we have some that have arrived! Please have yourself, or your student, pick them up from the main office.
Speaking of photos, we still have some student proofs in the office that haven’t been picked up yet. If you have not received your proof package, please stop by the office.
Do you know a 2024 Stelly’s Graduate? Please let them know that their high school diploma is now available in the school’s main office for pickup!

GRAD 2025
Diploma Verification forms were handed out to grade 12 students in their block 1 class last Wednesday. If you did not receive yours, please check with your block 1 teacher (for those with a spare in block 1, please see Ms. Pacheco-McKinnon)
The online booking is officially open for grads to schedule their Grad photos (October 23 to November 1st, by appointment)! The online booking link is here. Please note there is no 8-digit code, parents can search by city (Saanichton) and province.
Grads, on Wednesday October 30th, grab your carving tools and come out to the outdoor amphitheatre to participate in Pumpkin Carving! Sign up your team in the Grad Google Classroom today!
CAREER CENTRE
Don't forget, if you're keen to learn more about the Hair Program offered at the Saanichton Learning Centre, come to the Career Centre tomorrow, Tuesday, October 22nd, at lunch! We will have current Hair Program students here to share about their experiences, and show their skills. It'll be fun, make sure to come say hello!
Reminder to Block 1-4 Shop Classes, the Camosun Pipe Trades Trailer will be here tomorrow which is always a lot of fun.
