GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS
Thank you to the students and families who joined us last night for the BBQ and Meet the Teacher night! We enjoyed meeting all of you! Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to come out! A special thank you goes to Tina Savea who shared her knowledge with us about The Indigenous Peoples Atlas of Canada - Thank you, Tina!
Bonjour! If you are in French Immersion 9 or Core French 9, and interested in going to Quebec in May, please come to Mme Lister’s room, that’s room 22, at lunch on Monday the 16th. Any questions, please speak to Mme Lobb or Mme Lister.
Clubs Day is TODAY at lunchtime in the main foyer! This is your chance to dive into the amazing world of clubs and activities that Stelly’s has to offer. Whether you’re into fishing, creative writing, Dungeons & Dragons, or paddling, there’s something for everyone!
A message from the Learning Commons: Please remember to return all overdue textbooks to the Learning Commons as soon as possible. You will not be issued new text books if you have overdue books. Grade nine students may return their Bayside textbooks to our Learning Commons.

GRAD 2025
Grad Spirit Days are coming up next week! Monday is wear your grad colour - RED; Tuesday is Tacky Tourist; Wednesday is Western theme; Thursday is Monochrome; and Friday is Twin Day
On Wednesday September 18th, parents of 2025 Grads are invited to the first Parent After Grad Meeting in the Learning Commons beginning at 7pm. This evening kicks off the planning for your students’ After Grad Event, which is run by parents, that follows the (school-run) ceremony and dinner/dance.

CAREER CENTRE
The charity "Funding For Life" is looking for volunteers for their "End Of Summer Family BBQ". The BBQ is this Saturday at HEL HILEC park on West Saanich (right behind the library) from 10am - 5pm and volunteers are needed! Are you artistic and able to face paint? Or maybe you can help with set up and take down? For more info talk to Katherine in the Career Centre or email Gail@fundingforlife.com.
Orange course change forms were due yesterday. They are now considered late and your chances are limited if you wish to make any changes. Please see the Career Centre for guidance if you still have an orange form.
Applications for Fire Camp are in the Career Centre, they're due today, so come get on it if you want in on Fire Camp!
The Canadian University Event or "CUE" Field Trip is coming up next Tuesday, September 17th. Grade 11's and 12's have the chance to meet with University Rep's from across Canada. Bus will be leaving Stelly's at 12:45 and will bring you back to catch your bus home. Forms are available in the Career Centre (room 45) and are due today.

INFORMATION FOR PARENTS & GUARDIANS
Just a reminder that your student(s) should have brought home a Student Verification Form this week to sign and return. They are due today, but please return them asap if you have not already. These documents are to verify student contacts, medical information & other critical information that is to be updated regularly. Please make any changes directly on the form, sign and date it, then send it back to your students’ teacher who is keeping track.
To report your student absent or late, please email stellys_attendance@saanichschools.ca (and CC the appropriate teachers, if possible) or phone in to 250-652-4401 and select option 1
School photo day is coming up on Monday the 16th and Lifetouch will be offering lower prices on photo packages. Stay tuned for information that will come home with the student photo proof package.
