GENERAL SCHOOL NEWS
Today is the first day of Black History Month. At lunchtime today, Ms. Washington will begin the movie Roots in room 6. All are welcome. Stelly's will be celebrating this month with many activities for all. There will be spirit days, trivia games and a scavenger hunt with prizes for the winners. Check the Diversity Poster Board outside the Learning Commons for more details.
We are looking for Breakfast Club volunteers on Tuesday mornings from 7:25am to about 8:40am. Please contact Chantal to volunteer or for further information: ilovespices@yahoo.ca

ATHLETICS
TONIGHT: we have 3 home basketball games happening at Stelly’s - come on out and support the teams!
- Junior Girls play at 4:15pm
- Junior Boys play at 5:45pm
- Senior Girls play at 7:15pm
Are you interested in playing rugby? Jr and Sr Boys are meeting next week, February 5th and 7th after school on the back field. Come check it out!
3 vs 3 basketball intramurals are this Friday at lunch! Teams are to meet in the large gym.
GRAD 2024
Grad Spirit Week is coming up starting Monday February 5th! Monday’s theme is ‘Blue Monday’, Tuesday is ‘Decades’, Thursday is ‘Moms vs Dads’ and Friday is ‘Anything but a backpack’.

CAREER CENTRE
Win a trip to Ottawa!!The Rotary Club of Sidney presents "Adventures of Citizenship"! Are you aged 16 or older, a leader in your community, an accomplished student and active volunteer? Pop by the Career Centre to talk to Heidi about a chance to join 150 high school students from across Canada to fly to Ottawa May 26-29 to participate in social events, tours, and more to enhance your understanding and appreciation of Canadian citizenship. There's only a couple of weeks until the deadline so jump on it!
Ever thought about joining the Canadian Forces? Great news! Representatives are coming to Stelly's February 20th to chat all about the various roles and in demand careers available. Stay tuned for more info!

SISP INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM STUDENTS
Thursday February 1, 2024 - There is a mandatory homestay meeting in the Learning Commons for all new international students during lunch block. Pizza lunch will be provided.
Friday February 2, 2024 - International Student Mixer - All SISP international students (new and old) are invited to bring their own lunch to the Learning Commons during the lunch block to meet each other!
