Looking to gain volunteer hours? This Sunday, April 16th, the Victoria Cycling League is hosting a cycling race right here in Central Saanich! They are seeking volunteers to work as road marshals and also need photographers. Shifts run about two and a half hours and it's sure to be a fun, safe, action-filled day. Check the career board or Career Ed website for more info. That's this Sunday!

Spring plant sales! Last fundraising chance for the Grad Dinner/Dance! Each item sold reduces your dinner/dance ticket price by $5. Talk to your friends and family about buying their veggie starts and hanging baskets through us. See the post in the Grad Google Classroom or else paper order forms can be picked up from the grad board. Orders and money are due on Tuesday, April 25th. Any Questions? See Ms Tamboline.

Attention trades people - here's a career opportunity for you! Pacific Coast Metalcraft, a local Sheet Metal company is looking to hire an apprentice to help with fabrication, installation, assembly and transportation of products. Pacific Coast Metal Craft focuses on building their employees lifelong skills and have an apprentice program which can set the right person on a course toward becoming a Red Seal Sheet Metal worker through their training program. Information Session on New K-12 Student Reporting Policy is happening on Tuesday, April 18th at 7:00 p.m. (until 8:00 p.m.) for Parents and Caregivers.   It is happening on Microsoft Teams Meeting. Join on your computer or mobile app Click here to join   Our purpose is to Receive information on:  Why is my child not getting a letter grade?  How will I know how my child is doing?  What is descriptive feedback?  How will I know if my child is on track to graduate?

Island Ignite is a mentorship camp for young women that includes team building activities and firefighting tasks - with a major focus on FUN! Check this out - Panorama is hiring summer sports camp leaders and assistants for both their multi-sport camp and tennis camps running all summer long. GRAD 2023

Support Stelly’s Dry Grad 2023 with a FAIRWAY FUNDRAISING CARD!    How it works: Any time you shop at Fairway between now and the end of June, load money onto your Fairway card, and use it to pay for your groceries. Fairway will donate an amount equal to 5% of the total loaded to Dry Grad 2023. There is no cost to you.  Fairway cards will be sent home with all the grads on Thursday, April 13th, 2023.  More cards are available in the office.

Stelly's Dry After-Grad is hosting 2 paint nights at McTavish Academy of Art.  Happening on Friday, May 5th from 6-9pm and Sat, May 6th from 1-4pm.  $45/person   https://mctavishacademy.ca/product/stellys-fundraiser/     There are only 40 seats available per evening, so sign up ASAP to reserve your seat. This event is open to the public so bring your friends and family, everyone welcome!

Grad Scrap Metal Fundraiser:  Drop regular scrap metal off at Stelly’s between April 22 to April 30. NOTE: Manned hours (for help lifting) Saturday April 22 & Saturday April 29 between 9AM to NOON.  For the “expensive metals” aluminum; brass; copper. Items can also be dropped directly to Williams Scrap metal (donate to Stelly’s account). Please email stellysgrad23@gmail.com to arrange for larger items or expensive metals during unmanned hours, or if you have any questions!
