Spring plant sales! Last fundraising chance for the Grad Dinner/Dance! Each item sold reduces your dinner/dance ticket price by $5. Talk to your friends and family about buying their veggie starts and hanging baskets through us. Island Ignite is a mentorship camp for young women that includes team building activities and firefighting tasks - with a major focus on FUN! Island Ignite is FREE and will leave you feeling empowered and inspired. Check out ISLAND IGNITE DOT COM for more information - applications are due May 1st. Another exciting volunteering opportunity! The Brentwood Bay Association is seeking volunteers to help out with events like "Music in the Park", "Brentwood Bay Festival", parades and the Christmas Light Display. Join the fun in your home community. Check the career info board for more information!
Looking to gain some volunteer experience and have a great time doing it? This Easter Saturday volunteers are needed at Elk/Beaver Lake Park to help with the Neal Estate Groups' 24th Annual Easter Egg Hunt! Face painters, cup cake decorators and colouring contest coordinators are needed. Check the poster on the Career Board for more info!

Island Health's volunteer program is back and is recruiting for Fall of 2023! This is a great opportunity for those pursuing a career in health care. Volunteers mainly provide social engagement support to patients and residents while learn about the many different careers in health care. Learn all about this competitive opportunity on Wednesday April 5th at lunch in the career centre where Erin and her team from Island Health will be here to answer all your questions!
Step Up Youth Info Session Speaker Notes: Are you interested in a career in health care? How about an exciting and challenging volunteer role that would help you gain experience in the healthcare industry? Island Health Step Up Program is for you! Students aged 15-18 can apply for this program that runs September - April.
